Bugis Outing with Xuan

realise, i'm like blog-catching now..if there's such a term..haha, trying 2 catch up with all e stuff i wanted 2 blog abt but din get around to doing..

ok, it was really nice going out to Bugis with Xuan, though i really wld hv wanted to slack at home more :) 3 missons accomplished. Got my hair cut, found a shop selling some jewellery making stuff and found the mango dessert shop, although apparently, it wasnt the correct one.. Who cares, as long as it's good?

Xuan's going 2 Thailand - w/o me :( - so naturally, she was trying not to buy stuff, save up the $, go over to thailand and buy the stuff. Shd hv seen how gleeful she looked man, when the shopkeeper told her tt most of the Bugis stuff is from Thailand. Haha, very funny lor :p We were like looking at the stuff and saying, oh, go Thailand buy cheaper lah! Looking 4ward to many presents! :p I want birks and the nice nice heart-shaped pocket jeans..if u see lah :) I am not so demanding right? Haha..who am i kidding? :p

Spent a long time in Monster Ice eating the mango dessert and talking..feel so well-connected and well-informed..Haha..say some more lah, Xuan, next time dun share gossip already :p Ooh, met a pl senior while going home and tt sparked off another round of "dishing the dirt" out on ppl we haven seen in a long long time..haha er, this paragraph sounds really qt bad..but it wasnt tt bad lah..just the usual informing kind of thing tt happens right? i'm just being truthful :)

We went round and round the shops and checked out a few hairdressers. The one tt really caught our fancy, was this pretty young, modern looking one, with a cool-looking hair stylist inside :) Haha..he's got nice hair! Golden locks..like goldilocks..ok, like crapping..haha.. Yeah, but he really did remind me of some Japanese anime character..like one of those Naruto gang one? But he doesnt seem tt violent lah - like very gentle, speak very softly. Anyway the most important thing is tt i like my hair :) tt is a rare occurence. Cos generally, my hair needs at least a few miracles to look gd yah..not tt it looks very great but at least i like it..ok, whatever..sounding outta pt..

Yeah, he's only e 2nd hair dresser who does not wet my hair with water while cutting it. I really dun like the wetting hair thing, cos my hair has a life of its own and wetting it while cutting only makes it seem neat - which is an illusion. An illusion I do not like. The other hair dresser who does not wet my hair is somewhere far away in a small town called Taiping in Perak, West Malaysia. Which is just too far for me 2 travel, just to cut my hair. So perhaps, I'll be frequenting this salon more?

Anyway, Bugis Village has really expanded a lot, more exciting? Worth taking a look and a second look. I might be back there soon.. :)
