just now, it was threatening to rain...i just stood at the window, letting the wind blow over me, enjoying the coldness, the smell of the sea(?) and awaiting the impending storm...which most unfortunately, did not arrive....it seemed weird to me that everyone was just rushing to close the windows, even before the first raindrops started falling...the only people i could see enjoying the wind, out of my tiny little window, was a little girl, though the windows of her house were not wide open, but she pulled back the curtains and allow the wind to blow into her house, but not long after, her parents pulled the curtains closed...another one was a woman, she just stood there...it's weird that people would rather enjoy the artificially "purified" air from the air-conditioner, than natural air from the heavens...umm...this is not aimed at anyone...i do like my air-con as much on a hot, humid afternoon...seems that the more high-tech we get, the less we appreciate and enjoy what's naturally good...maybe cos i always have this impression in my mind of children in some poor country dancing in the rain, after months of drought? like so sterotypical...
