it's been a really long 2 days..tiring but actually, they seemed really short..yeah, i must say i've really enjoyed my 2 days with the yokohama exchange students..totemo totemo tanoshi des ne! :) it's like there's some big communication problem lah, cos my nihongo wa totemo totemo walui des...meaning tt my japanese is really really bad..and the japanese students cannot speak much english either..so it's like duck talking to chicken.."cheep cheep...quack quack..."

yeah, i must say i've learnt a lot from them lah..like "kuru kuru *pa*!" in japanese "くるくるぱ!" *haha...the whole day, we just laughed about it..erm, it's smtg qt stupid..and yah gotta do action action man..*haha...

one of the most interesting characters in the group is toshiro..he looks like a typical singaporean ah beng..but got more class lah..and somehow he can carry off wearing a scarf as a belt and a flowery white shirt. i admit certain stereotypes were like imprinted in my mind..the deepest impression he made was that he actually called the teacher on the first day to seek permission to go play pool! oh man..my partner and i were like amazed when we found out.

the japanese are fastidious about time and punctuality..we had to be back at york hotel at 7.50pm..and the thing is that we were late 2day..and guess what? toshi was like telling everyone to run up the slope quickly back to the hotel..we were less than 10 mins late, just had dinner and the slope up the hotel is really steep lah..imagine my incredulous-ness..

although kinda shy at first, mayo is a very sweet-looking girl :) when she smiles, you can hardly see her eyes, "mi mi yan", like me..*haha :p yeah, i think she's very gentle, yet firm and probably has the makings of a good teacher :)

miho is the boyish one, although actually, all 3 girls are not very interested in shopping, buying shoes, clothes and all that..*haha..the thing i like about her is that she laughs easily..and she just keeps laughing and laughing..and she doesnt care how loud it is :p she's the more outgoing one i believe..

yuuki is the cute one..his mannerisms are very adorable :) he plays the accoustic guitar and can sing! he wants to work in a nursery in future..he tries very hard at trying to communicate lah..though the language barrier is there..

yukari is the practical one..somehow, tt's e way i think abt her..i think she's pretty sociable 2, just that the language barrier is there..when the teacher was around, she kept asking me questions through the teacher..yeah haha :)

takahito is the very shy and quiet one..erm, yah, can feel that he's not very sociable..not that the others do not like him but he just doesnt talk to them..

the amazing thing is that even though we lack serious communication language, body language and expressions play a big role, can still sense the feelings..

anyway, i gotta go, still wondering if i shd bake cookies for them now..
