with regards to the post on amusing comments on food survey..some of which were really too incredible..perhaps it reflects how some of us have lost touch with the reality of the world.

food prices are rising astronomically and we could be looking at an entire starving globe. everyone is tightening their budgets, from the man in the street to comfortable middle-class families. everywhere from Bangladesh to Singapore, people are complaining of high commodity prices.

the western uncle was complaining much about food supply costs had all increased by at least 50% since he started. how he cannot keep maintaining those selling prices, he needs to increase the prices so that he can keep up with the costs. hence, the decrease in food portions and quality.

you wonder how things came to this. but how can things always keep improving?

*increasing prices is still no excuse for bad cooking..
