met up with an old friend last thursday, my first friend in uni, to be exact, jia. she's back after a year in france. when she first left, i guess i did miss her, miss having someone to spot strange hairstyles, funny ppl with, wondering what the panda paws all over school were about..

sometimes, with some people, you experience "defining moments". those moments where you know something has changed fundamentally, where your friendship, relationship cannot go back to being the same again. in this case, it's about good defining moments, when you know you're friends, for real. when the wall crumbles and the ice has been melted. with jia, it was over mcflurry ice cream at the engine mcdonald's.

it was nice to catch up with her and to realise that, with some friends, you can just be yourself. no need to worry about having nothing to say, about having to say things to impress others. yup and what i've been worrying she's gonna ask me about, was over and done with quickly. it was quite funny actually.

"you know i heard xx got rejected by this girl..", laughter.."you know who's the girl?" when jia found out, she was laughing so hard, i had to pull her lest she fell onto the road while laughing. haha..xx has been telling ppl that he got rejected cos he was boring but xx thinks that the girl is even more boring -.-"

had a lovely time slacking at the outdoor deck at vivo..and we concluded we're apathetic people with no specific goals in life >.<
