what am i doing awake at this hour? tt's a terribly gd question..

between my lil bro and i, i think we're mega "tan chi guis", sigh..yesterday when we went for the movie, we just ate and ate so many things..corrochan's corokke, burger, nachos, large sprite..ooh but corrochan's omelette corokke is really gd! :) so is e salmon one.. :)

impromptu howl's moving castle review

howl's moving castle was hmmm gd in it's own way but i felt tt it was just kinda lacking smtg..what is it, i cant really fig out..i dun like it tt howl is such a flat personality in e show..he's like e gd guy, despite them saying tt he tears girls' hearts out..in e book, he's like a dual personality? this misunderstood guy..i pref tt..adds more complexity..and e witch of e waste is like watered-down..feeble old lady? cos of tt, i dunno what's e war abt..it's not against e witch is it? then why bring in e witch? then erm, what does howl keep changing into this bird-like monster? they din exp, did they?

i dun like tt they din really explain a lot of e story, basically, i feel tt e it's qt a lot like e book but they chop up some of e parts and added in some other parts..like what's with lettie? i think it's qt stupid..in e book she had a more significant role but in e movie? she's just there 2 allow sophie 2 express her feelings abt howl? think they played up e relationships between e characters in e movie..

and e characters..howl is qt effeminate - earrings and all..but his room is rather cool..and as shumz says, he's probably gd looking in e japanese sort of way..markl or michael (as in e book) is so so so cute! :) think they made him younger than what i imagined 2b..sophie is sweet in her own way, just tt i cldnt understand why she kept alternating between young and old, e part where she became an old lady and was trying 2 calm herself down was e most hilarious! and e witch of e waste is e ugliest ever!! so gross lor, think she has goitre! i think they made e gd characters gd-looking and e horrid ones ugly..calcifer is adorable! :) poor thing..always get bullied..haha..but e way they portrayed shooting stars is really pretty..i dunno what's with madame suliman..ok, think she's e one perpetuating e war? e war is 2 convince howl 2 become e king's magician? but howl had 2 help fight..weird..

music was great though! :) does anyone hv e songs?? pls send/lend me, thank u :) yeah, and i did enjoy listening and watching e movie in japanese..just tt, just tt..i felt there was this weird mis-match between e setting of e story and e language they speak..but then, well e whole story has been japanese anime-fied and it sure beats listening 2 dubbed lousy english! fyi, takuya kimura is howl's voice..and i shd start watching more japanese dramas!

i love e hse, it's so magical, especially e door! :) and i love e part where howl took sophie flying over e town..it's just so fantastic, magical and romantic :) and e small hse in e meadows, plus all e beautiful flowers! :)

overall, it's a nice movie 2 watch, to lose urself in some fantasy and escape e harsh realities of life..yes, marketing assignment..
