Some Common Misconceptions Abt Project and Project Mates

Misconception #1: All China Chinese Students Are Very Hardworking

Proven wrong last sem, when e guy in my grp happily skived off and disappeared forever, well, almost..i saw him..*haha, late for exams..guess what? i was late 2...lol..and there was this other guy who did not appear for any tutorial after e first few..then turned up for the oral exam..i m in no way discriminating against china chinese students..i do know many who are very very hardworking, just tt it's not everyone..yup..

Misconception #2: Older Students (i.e. yr 2 and above) Are More Experienced and hence, Better at Project Work

Proven wrong last sem 2..e 2 biggest slackers in my grp were yr 2 students..e yr 1s were e one working hard..hence, tt means tt e older one gets, e more experienced one becomes, one learns how to get by and escape doing more work..

Misconception #3: All Group Members Will Try Hard To Do Their Part for the Project Because It Is A GROUP Project

Proven wrong last sem, again..group project simply means that you can be a free-rider/loader..whatever u call it, ie getting a very decent grade for zero effort put in by putting in the appropriate pretensions at the right time, while leaving your poor project mates to do the rest, opps, i mean all of the hard work...

yup, e cynic in me is hard at work again..gotta do more projects this sem i think..let's hope i get nice project mates..
